Meet Dr. Klokkevold
Perry Klokkevold, D.D.S, M.S., F.A.C.D. brings 25 years of clinical expertise as a periodontist, implant surgeon and educator to the South Bay Periodontics Team. He is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a Faculty Member of the OKU Dental Honor Society. He graduated from UCSF School of Dentistry and completed postgraduate training in Hospital Dentistry, Periodontics and Implant Surgery, all at UCLA.
Dr. Klokkevold is Professor of Clinical Dentistry and Director of the UCLA Periodontics Residency Program. He lectures nationally and internationally and has been an invited expert to world conferences assessing the state of periodontics and implantology. He has published over 60 articles and more than 100 book chapters. He is Co-Editor Clinical Periodontology, (10th -13th eds) the most widely read and respected textbook in the field of periodontics.
